RHINOPLASTY CONSULTATION
Like any surgical project, it is important to come accompanied by a loved one during the consultation. Don't forget to bring your medical file with scanners and old operating reports if you have already had surgery.
Dr. Guillaume Carles will take stock of your expectations and then examine you.
A computer modeling of rhinoplasty by "morphing" may be offered to you.
This will allow you to expose your wishes and get an idea of what is possible to do. This is of course not a contractual document, but rather a support for an open discussion.
Attention, in some cases of secondary rhinoplasty, it is possible that a new intervention is not possible. Indeed, the benefit/risk balance is not always in favor of a surgical resumption.
The operations take place in Montpellier within the Clémentville or Saint-Roch clinics.
GET OPERATED IN MONTPELLIER
It is possible to organize an operation remotely. Even if a first contact by teleconsultation is possible, a physical consultation is essential before any operation. In some cases, Dr. Carles may offer you to come for consultation on Monday afternoon, before an operation the next day.
On the other hand, the anesthesia consultation can be carried out by teleconsultation.
The days after the operation, you can stay in Montpellier or go back. It is possible to take the train or plane the day after the operation.
The post-operative consultation takes place between the 6th and 9th day.
PARISIAN PATIENTS
If you want to make a minimal stay in the south and live in Paris, you can take the train in the morning at 7 a.m. at Gare de Lyon, to arrive at 10:30 a.m. in Montpellier (about 50 euros) and have surgery in the afternoon.
In this case, it is possible to have a light breakfast at 6 a.m. (count at least 6 hours of fasting before the intervention).
The easiest way to get from the station to the clinic is the taxi (about 10 minutes, 15 euros). Taxis are often available at the station but the ideal is to book them in advance.
You will spend the night at the clinic and leave the next day, at the time that suits you. A round trip will be necessary on the 6th or 7th day to remove the splints. Plan a budget of 250 euros for both round trips if you do it in advance.
